Northlink Orkney & Shetland Ferries Northlink, a new venture between Caledonian Macbrayne and The Royal Bank of Scotland was set up in 2002. The companies had limited experience of ferry-related communications, and iitac was initially contracted to provide an in depth proposal to deliver a cost effective solution for ship to shore communications. It soon became apparent that iitac’s expertise in the cruise industry would be of significant benefit to our company. iitac are now our preferred supplier of IT and communications solutions, both onboard and shore side.
