NorthLink Ferries
NorthLink, a venture between Caledonian Macbrayne and The Royal Bank of Scotland was set up in 2002. 
The companies had limited experience of ferry-related communications, and IITAC was contracted to provide an in depth proposal to deliver a cost effective solution for ship to shore communications. It soon became apparent that IITAC’s expertise in the cruise industry would be of significant benefit to our company. IITAC are now our preferred supplier of IT and Communications solutions, both onboard and shore side. The relationship continues to grow with our company.
Bio Technology Company
Bio Technology company is a technology leader and driving force in the changing dynamics of the life science marketplace. The business is focused on basic research, commercial research (pharmaceutical and biotechnology) and standardised testing, including forensic human identification, paternity testing and food testing. As a multi national company that has grown rapidly and by acquisition no coherent I.T. Or Communications strategy had been devised. IITAC’s track record in delivering and implementing strategies was instrumental in the decision to contract their services. Over a period of one month they visited all our European offices and delivered a coherent strategy for the company to implement and move forward with. Immediate savings of £2 million on communications costs were identified.
Burlington Resources
Burlington Resources Inc. is one of the world's largest independent oil and natural gas exploration and
production companies. One location in Morecombe Bay needed communications where conventional Telco’s were unable to deliver. IITAC were recommended as a satellite provider. After initial discussions a pilot project was set up which delivered the required data throughput. As a result we have added a second location in Barrow and using IITAC’s expertise have setup VPN’s from both locations back to our Head Office Location in Texas..
First Choice Holidays
First Choice Holidays is one of the largest tour operators in the UK. In 2001, under the name
Island Cruises, the company committed to deliver a new product to the UK and American markets. Our prime objective was the efficient and effective delivery of customer booking details from our current in-house system to a new onboard system. IITAC specified, managed the tender process, recommended the preferred supplier and project managed the implementation.. As our existing IT team was committed to other projects, iitac was contracted to deliver the integration solution. This was achieved on time and within budget. The project was a complete success and we look forward to the next ship being delivered with iitac alongside.
Quintek
Quintek is a provider of point of sale systems, primarily to stadium and event locations in the UK. 
We are also looking to expand in the cruise and ferry market. Our first exposure to iitac was during the tender process for Northlink’s new business startup. It soon became apparent that iitac had a far greater understanding of onboard requirements than our in-house staff. As a result, iitac worked closely with us to deliver the onboard solutions to the required customer schedule. We look forward to enhancing the relationship in future projects..

M-E-I, a relatively new marine electrical company needed introducing to companies within the Cruise
and Ferry Industry. iitac’s knowledge and understanding of ships’ requirements and regulations is exemplarily and we have worked jointly on a number of projects within the industry. As a result, we continue to grow our business and look forward to developing the relationship further.
